I bought a refurbished Brother MFC 8710DW copier printer for $297. First off, they sent me the wrong model (8910DW), which was cheaper. Then, the machine just stopped working. After I reached out to A Matter of Fax (also known as PC & More and PrintersCopiersandMore) about their faulty product, they took their sweet time to respond—like a week or so. Meanwhile, I was left without a printer/copier, which was a real hassle. The first return was handled by FedEx, who picked it up from my place. But guess what? They delayed sending a replacement, even after I gave them the tracking number the same day FedEx picked up the broken machine. More time without a printer/copier, ugh!!

When I finally got my replacement refurbished printer (they did send the right model this time), it turned out to be defective too, as it kept jamming! Seriously, any decent Quality Control would’ve caught that before shipping it out.

When I requested a pre-paid shipping label for the return, they gave me a UPS label that didn’t include pre-paid pick-up. (I hurt my back lifting the first return onto a table outside my front door.) My many requests for an account number to cover the $11.99 pick-up fee were ignored until I was told I had just 4 days left to send the product back.

I ended up wasting 30 minutes trying to pre-pay that $11.99 charge—UPS' website was no help, so I had to spend another 12-15 minutes on the phone with someone in the Philippines to arrange the pick-up and pay the fees that A Matter of Fax/PC More/PrintersCopiesandMore should’ve taken care of. My frustration level is through the roof!!

So, because of all the trouble A Matter of Fax/PrintersCopiersandMore/PC & More has caused me, I’m taking the time to warn other shoppers. Avoid doing business with these folks...or proceed at your own risk.

I’m still waiting on a refund for my order that got charged twice, and it’s been since September of last year. Jon, the owner, has put the blame on the poor girl who picked up the phone. It’s definitely not her fault. I haven’t heard a peep from them in months, despite making several calls. Seriously, steer clear of A Matter of Fax. The little bit you save isn’t worth the hassle. I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever see my money again. I’m thinking probably not...

A Matter of Fax had the toner I was looking for at a fantastic price, way better than a bunch of other sellers (38.8% less expensive at the low volume entry point since I just wanted to try out the cartridges before committing fully). The buying process was super straightforward. The only area I think they could step it up is the speed of processing and shipping the order. I'm definitely gonna keep ordering my toner from them in the future.

I did a quick search on Google for replacement ink cartridges and stumbled upon A Matter of Fax. They had my ink priced at just $2.15 for a remanufactured cartridge. Can you believe that? I was skeptical, but decided to give them a shot. Not only did I receive all 6 cartridges I ordered, but they were the XL size, which means more ink and they fit my printer perfectly.
